I hear that ISA's BMPs are good, and cheap. Cabling one species of tree can be very different from another species. Cabling one defect can be very different that another defect. Cabling one defect in a species can be very different that another defect in the same species. Pictures. Species? Defect type? Type of cable system that you have in mind? |

Cabling is as much an art as a science. By the ANSI Standards for Cabling and Bracing from ISA for the best information. International Society of Arboriculture Trees that need cabling are seldom the best candidates for cabling. Sometimes judicious pruning is a better alternative.
