Desperately struggling to find the name of this tree we have at work. I have pictures to attach, but cannot figure out how to attach image from My Documents. Tree is approximately 18 feet tall, has a short trunk (~5 feet) and has beautiful burgundy and green leaves that are shaped like tear trops (about the length of a palmwidth). the underside of each leaf is more burgundy than the top. This may be a tree that flowers in the spring, but a i cannot confirm until then. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Many thanks and you will make my wife's day!!!! |

Sounds like a variety of red bud, but then again without pictures, your question is useless.
