Default Mornington Peninsula Trees

Hi , Ive been researching the different types of trees found on the mornington peninsula from Mt Martha through to portsea including Red Hill, Flinders, and Shoreham .
I am researching these trees in order to put a basic training package together for my local State Emergency Service unit which i am a member of .
The Goal with this training is to inform our members how to :
a) correctly identify trees ,
b) assess potential hazards and risks associated with various trees,
c) Use less damaging and efficient methods to remove damaged / Fallen trees.
My questions are :
What are the most common trees found on the peninsula that we would have to deal with ie ( storm damage etc) - I have so far found -
Moonah – Melaleuca lanceolata , Coastal tea-tree – Leptospermum laevigatum, Coast Banksia - Banksia integrifolia, Swamp Paperbark -Melaleuca ericifolia, Drooping Sheoak - Allocasuarina verticillata, Blackwood - Acacia melanoxylon, Swamp Gum - Eucalyptus ovata, Wooly Tea Tree - Leptospermum lanigerum, Black Wattle -Acacia mearnsii, Black Sheoak - Allocasuarina littoralis, Messmate stringybark - Eucalyptus obliqua, Narrow-leaved Peppermint - Eucalyptus radiata, Coast Manna Gum -Eucalyptus pryoriana , Manna Gum - Eucalyptus viminalis, Monterey Cypress - Cupressus macrocarpa, Radiata Pine tree – Pinus Radiata, Norfolk Island Pine - Araucaria heterophylla, Lemon Scented or Spotted Gum - Corymbia citriodora, Sweet Pittosporum - Pittosporum undulatum.
and what are the main causes (other than wind) of tree failures in our area.
