Default Melaleuca linarifolia

I am just commencing a project and attempting to gain any information regarding Melaleuca linarifolia specific to root system type, aggressiveness etc and specifically water usage

I know Melaleucas - some at least will tolerate wet feet, some like swampy conditions etc but really need info specific to Melaleuca linarifolia

Any help really appreciated

Sadly a problem tree for storm water pipes n sewers. As very tolerant of low o2 they are more than happy getting into pipes. The little feeders finda wee crack and in time its a mass of fiber clogging the lot.
To defend a root invasion claim I argue that sewers should be sound so that feeder roots should not enter. Its harder to argue that with storm water as many are old just but joint earthen ware.
So last few years with drought I've been finding these trees doing more than their fair share as easy available source of moisture has been leaking storm & sewer pipes.
I seen whole side entry pit's full to the brim with these trees fiber root mass you gotta cut it away with a spade like wire weed or Muehlenbeckia creeper.
When things are normal they are not good trees around pipes when things dry up they give ya more trouble.
On top that I reckon look dumb n plain like cauliflower trees have little soul and compete with all under them.

Been gettin a weird bug lately a small fly or caterpillar tiny white cases all over the trunk people call me say got termites, tish but dont know just what these are I asked about no one knows. Only damage tiny holes in the paper bark surface????
