Default Looking for a specific tree

I got this email in this morning, rather then just send her a one man reply I thought I'd invite her here and get you guys to give her some recomendations.

Quote:
Hi there,

I am trying to find a tree trunk with the dimensions of 30cm diametre and 50cm height to be used in my exhibition space at the end of this year. I'm a student graduating at the end of this year in my chosen field of Interior Decoration and have started my search on where I could find a tree trunk with the dimensions stated for my exhibition space.

I have already contacted a few of the councils but thought it would be wise to ask a tree lopper like yourself and hopefully get on the right track to finsing one I can use at the end of the year.

I don't mind if I have to borrow and then bring back the trunk who can supply me as I will only need it for a short period.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Kind regards and best wishes,

Lydia

Most tree lopping businesses I have come across seem to avoid dump tipping fees by having a mates property on which they dump their logs from big removals this person would be advised to find where the nearest such site is to her and get the section there.

Not only the yanks keep the imperial system but they buggered it up to .... like US gallons instead of the superior British ones.

JayD, cocos rounds would be the deal, they're spot on for 30cm dia and she can custom order the length.

Dang Sydney tree loppers ... up here we got classy arborists who do precision tree work and have standards written to acknowledge it.
