Default Japanese blueberry Little Emporer

I have just purchased and planted a Japanese blueberry little emperor. It is in bloom and the honey bees are enjoying the blossoms. I searching the web I was able to learn that the tree does produce olive like fruit which "do not stain your driveway", but I would like to know whether they are poisonous to people or are in some way edible? It is a really a nice little tree. How fast does it grow and how can I start some fresh plants from my existing tree?

Fruits can be messy but do not leave a lasting stain.

The tree does poorly in alkaline soils - prefers pH ranges in the 6.0 to 7.2.

Poorly drained soils lead to root rots.

New starts would be best done by propagating stem cuttings.

Monrovia Nursery is producing these in quantity - it would be faster (a lot faster) just to buy more. Ask your nurseryman to contact Monrovia for you.
