Default How far to plant fruit trees from salty road

I live in the northern USA, so there is a lot of road salt in the winters. I am planning on lining the front of my property with a variety of fruit trees (apple, pear, peach & plum.) How far from the edge of the road should they be to ensure the salt won't damage them?
