Greetings, I've recently noticed that one of my trees has numerous holes that loop around the trunk and continue from top to bottom. I believe the tree is an Ash of some sort but I could be off. It's evergreen nontheless. I think they may be caused by a local woodpecker but don't know for sure. I live in Portland, OR here in the states and I don't believe we have any burrowing beetles. Could be wrong though. I've attached some images to show what I am talking about. Thanks! |
