If someone could tell me the name of these trees/bushes, I may be able to find the answer more easily. They have been getting reddish spots on the leaves and I am wondering if there is something I can do to help save them if they are in trouble. I've tried to post the images here, but it isn't letting me, I've posted them on Picasa though: ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks! Last edited by Jeff Darby; 18th May 2009 at 09:50 AM. Try resizing your images to suit, when loading the parameters are given in the tables. Rust is a fungi and treated by fungicides or it could be element deficiencies, hard to tell from the tiny pics. Either way, think about it ... is it fungi related or insect/bacteria related or soil problems. Look at the leaf with a magnifying glass, what do you see?

I think they might be Photinia, and from what I've found online, it appears to be red spot...

I'm no expert, but they appear to be Red-Tipped Photinias with Entomosporium Leaf Spot caused by a fungus. Here's a link to some good information: ODIN011 - Entomosporium Leaf Spot on Red Tip |
