Hi, when we bought our old French property we were really pleased to find that we had many established trees. I have a prob with the two cherry trees. They are big, old & I think in need of some major TLC. I know they have pinkish red sweet fruit, but I have no idea of the variety. From studying the pic's in my fruit expert book I think the trees are sufferring with shot hole or bacterial canker the book says the brown specs are paler around the edges, however mine are paler in the centre. I really want to bring these trees back to top condition. I hope you can give me some help to do this. By the way I cannot afford for a qualified tree doctor to come & help. Many thanks. |
