| Oh my! No way would I stick my arm in there. I have actually looked at it already, it does have a reverse on it for jams, sort of like a paper shredder does.

You know what , you should man-up and just do it. I feel really good about your situation. You seem to have every base covered ,and why would you want to pay someone else for just climbing up a tree ,and "doin the deed", and then to come on down. Buy your saddle and spurs and flipline from Wespur and get-r-done. For the record, I would not work for you for any amount of money, I have standards, and I will never stoop to work for someone as disrespectful as you are to the talent and work ethic that I have. Its bad enough to find out your your customers an ass after the jobs done, but people like you make it easy before hand. If you do want to learn from everyone on here, at least be respectful and pay your dues,us dumb ole tree cutters "aint" as stupid as you think. But maybe you can learn much faster than we all did ?????? I got to go get on the veterinarian's chat forum, as I think Im gonna try to operate on my dog myself, I mean really,,,,how hard can it be????

Have a go, it's not that hard. Study the vids, get a strong rope and hire a petrol saw. Drop the ones you can from the ground and after you've cleaned the mess up see if you still want to do more. When/if your getting a quote ask what the hourly rate is to just get them on the ground and you'll clean up the mess. We often shake our head at how we survived the early stages of our career but you sound like you've got your head scewed on. PS. not trying to put the wind up ya, but I recently used a pole saw for the first time and was probably the most unsafe I've felt in a long time. Can't imagine trying to jump out of the way of falling branchs while perched on a scaffoled. Do keep us updated. Kel |
