I usually get a few leaves a year and then it goes away but this season the tree is infested. Any ideas on what it is, what is causing it and is there a cure? ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Jeff Darby; 26th May 2009 at 11:02 AM. Reason: resize & embed pictures |

| Phylloxera leaf galls are really more of a cosmetic problem than anything. The leaves continue to function normally as though nothing has happened if there are only a gall or two per leaf. Injectible chemicals in the early spring would "control it" but why bother. Prompt disposal of the leaves as they come down in the fall will minimize subsequent infestations. And then again, some years you may not see a single gall. |
