Geijera parviflora/Australian Willow. What can you tell me about this little tree? I had a customer tell me that is what he had, but his trees just seemed too big, and the bark was wrong. Know any sites where I can find good pictures? The customer also told us the vultures are killing his trees...never mind all the mistle toe, and the fact these trees are old mature cottonwoods.

I already saw all these, was not impressed with the tree images I found. But the trees I saw in the field just didn't seem to fit the over all discription of this species.

If I make it back out there. It is a bit out of the way, but I'll see what I can do next week.

Holly I was at one of the best Arboretum in Oz last week...Waite Arboetum Adelaide SA, took these pic for you of the Geijera parviflora growing there, no artificial irrigation, 33yrs old 6m X 10m. Beautiful balanced rounded form. ![]() Close up of foliage ![]() Internal branching structure |

Thanks for the pictures. It just reconfirms what I thought, the trees I saw are not Aussie Willows. Esp. if the pictures are of a 33 year old tree. The ones I was looking at were only about 18 years old. The owner did not know what he had planted. Thanks again!
