Unhappy Fisherman54

I HAVE COME ON TRYING TO IDENTIFY A SPRUCE OR FUR TREE IN MY GARDEN SOMEONE GAVE IT TO ME WHO WAS THROWING IT AWAY SO I HAVE PUT IT IN MY GARDEN AND WATERED IT EVERY DAY FOR TWO WEEKS BUT IT DOES NOT SEEM TO LIKE IT HERE IT IS GOING ALL DRY AND THE SPINES ARE DRYING UP PLEASE HELP ME SAVE IT THANK YOU

Can you take some pics?maybe even gently brush the top soil away so we can see the upper roots[try not to break any].Also have you been fertilizing?maybe over fertalization.
