Default difference between chinaberry and chinese pistachio

My husband thinks that the tree we have in the front yard is a chinaberry and he hates it. I just purchased 3 new trees that look very similar to the tree in the front yard but the nursery has them labeled as chinese pistachios. I did read on the internet that I should purchase male chinese pistachios but these trees are not labeled so I'm pretty sure that the nursery doesn't know either. Should I avoid this tree?

The red leaf pic is the "new" tree from the nursery which is labeled chinese pistachio and the yellow leaf pic is the "chinaberry" tree that we have in the front yard. Any information about how to tell what we have would be great! I think my husband doesn't like the chinaberry tree because it attracts all this kissing bugs.

I would go with the Pistache, the chinaberry makes a mess and loses its leaves in winter. Great shade, makes a mess, but the Pistache, to me, is much nicer.

Thank you for your reply. In reading my post, I guess I didn't phrase my question quite right. I really need to tell if the tree I have is a chinese pistachio OR a chinaberry -- how do I tell the difference? If you direct me to a website that has a good description of both, that would be simply wonderful...

Hi Projectx633, the fruit does look like a chinaberry, but to be certain a better picture of the tree and foliage would be helpful.

I've put in a link that might be useful.
