Default Diesel Tree

Hi, I am from Jacksonville, Florida. I live in a subtropical climate. I have heard of a tree being cultivated in Australia called copaifera langsdorfii, or simply the diesel tree. it is originally from Brazil. can anyone tell me where in brazil it comes from and how to buy some seedlings?

You'll have to search on the net over there I'd say.

JL - In Reading Ekka's post it says " annual precipitation of 1000-4000mm, annual temperature of 20-27 deg C (with no frost), and soil pH of 4.5-7.5."

Translation to non Metric
1000-4000mm= 39.32"-157.25" (I guess its a SERIOUS rain forest there)
20-27 C= 68 - 80 F

Jacksonville averages

The blocking is off a little, cut and paste doesn't translate sometimes

It looks like the watering would be the biggest chore

Makes you smarter, Treats VD AND wards off Hexes .... Forget burning it in your car.

I wonder what it smells like? Bees pollenate it, would you get honey that tastes like Hydrocarbons?
