cost to prune a huge eucalyptus tree

we are thinking of purchasing a home here in AZ with a huge eucalyptus tree in the back yard...not too far from the enclosed patio. Several branches hang over the house roof and after reading the roots can spread laterally up to 100 feet and go very deep, we are concerned about the cost of pruning and or removing this tree. We want to gather as much info on cost of pruning or removal before we bid on the house. It must be at least 60 feet tall or taller and branches going out at least 25 feet in each direction. What do you think...we would definitely hire an expert (arborist), but wanted an idea of whether we could safely prune or remove it or should just pass on the house, because it might be too tricky of a task...too many variables. Any info would help. Thanks so much.

Get an arborist out, if you want advice in addition to a quote pay for their time.

Quotes (bids) are generally free but advice is not, so perhaps get a consulting arborist and pay for their time and explore options available.
