Dear Tree World Members Not sure if you can help but I planted 17 Capital Ornamental Pear Trees last summer and they seemed to be doing ok but they haven't flowered and I'm worried about them. They budded up which led me to believe they had survived the heat of summer and the cold of winter but nothing happened. My neighbour has an established tree and his has flowered and now the flowers are falling and mine haven't done that. Would all 17 be dead?? Such alot of money wasted... Not sure if anyone can help but thought I'd try. Thanks in advance. |

In Melbourne most of these have just came out in the last few weeks. THe weather has been up & down, we got a sense of warmth coming then it's cooled off again, so be patient. Capital often doesnt flower as much as other varieties of Orn. Pear. |
