Currently, I can't post pics but can describe the tree. It appears to have pea pods in groups hanging from it. Does anyone know the kind? Thanks |

To be honest I'm not an expert but I do know the Wisteria does have large pods that hang. The tree has a twisted vine type of trunk and beatifully fragrant purple flowers. Not sure if this is the one your looking for. |

If it's small umbrella-shaped tree it may be a redbud, very common in Clayton. Are you near the new bypass? Guy in Apex |
