Default Bringing up Baby camphor tree

I have a baby camphor tree that I have replanted in the corner of my yard to replace my shade tree that had to be removed years ago. What is the best way to care for this? It's gotten very bushy so I removed alot of the lower branches so it looks more like a miniature tree. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

If its a Cinnamomum camphora http://bit.ly/hbn12X try keep it away from pipes drains neighbors & infrastructure.
Your little baby will quickly grow to be very large teenager wrecking stuff as it grows. A great tree they just need a big back yards to stretch their legs and arms in.

A photo of baby will help say if any pruning or planting care needed

Oh dear says they are not liked in your town. It has been declared a category I invasive species in Florida.[5]

Weeds in other places too and if the roots are damaged can put up suckers like crazy

I still love them though – grew up with one when I was a kid – big low fork easy to climb and the leaves when crushed - I love the smell

Have been used in the past here in Melbourne as street trees

I already have 2 huge camphor trees in my yard. I took a seedling from one because I want a shade tree for my southwest corner of my yard. It's only 10" high, so a pic won't tell anything. I just wanted to know whether to keep taking off the lower leaves... or whatever. I do not have any problem with it propagating everywhere- don't know why- I just get baby ones in my gardens in the fall and they die off in the winter- this one I saved. I will call the Ag Center about it being banned.
