|  Blue Spruce - top 3 feet broke off during wind storm - What to do ?
Location: Toronto, Canada Blue Spruce had 3 feet "topped" off in wind storm (see picture). It is approx. 7 feet tall now. I'm not sure what to do. It has 3 or 4 branches at the top now. Will nature make one the leader (over time) or should I do something to help ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

Pick out the best, prune the others out. One leader, not multiple.

? Pick out the best of the top branches and let it naturally take over as the leader ? Prune the others out ? What does this mean ? Cut them completly off or just trim them back to a smaller size ? Thanks |
