I have a Steeds Holly as the central plant in my evergreen front foundation bed. It's a small leaf holly with a Xmas tree shape and chosen because it has both height and width to soften a brick wall that's in between two windows. I now need to fill in next to the Steeds with plants under each window with preferably the same plant but with a different shape. The nursery man showed me Japanese Hollies but the growing habit at the top is a bit wild, with branches going every which way. He showed me some Bennetts Hollies, which look almost the same as the Japanese but without the wild look, and they look more formal, so a better match for the Steeds. The problem is I have not been able to find anything about them on the Internet. I have even put up two posts on other forums in the last two days and no replies. I would just like to know if the Bennetts Holly is a good plant for zone 6 and would look nice with the Steeds as it matures and is pruned. Any info about care and pitfalls is also appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies.
