Hi all I'm going shopping tomorrow have enough gear for climbing but what would you all consider to be the basic kit,how many micro pulleys/lanyards/caribiners/split tails etc would you have on you look forward to your replies cheers Beaker |

For me less is best, while all the new gear n gizzmos r great. I reckon way too much is dragged aloft these days. A good harness main crab flip line n ya life line with a few tool straps n small crabs will make you money. Micro pullys split tails n 2 flip lines on a climb are well er impressive but every bit of gear canna be a missing link in your chain of safety too much and you'll find a fast way down. You left out a good pair of leg spike these'll make you easy fast take down cash. |

Hi Derwoodii yep I have some Buckingham replaceable gaf climbers ,thanks for the advice definately less confusing with less gear cheers |
