Any recommendation?

Here is a video:

Le Conyfair : La nouvelle génération de coin d'abattage.

Click on "Galerie", then video #2.

Looks like you don't know this material?!

The Rattlewedge, made out of lightweight aluminium, hardly weighs 1.4kg

Well Ekka, the thread is called "what is this material worth?"

So....*maybe*.... he's wondering what one of those niffty rattle ratchet dealies is worth.

Just a guess though.

I just saw one somewhere.... oh right, it was in the new Sherrill catalog that showed up, here I'll dig it out.

They're selling for $229US brand new, from the catalog.

For that price,i'll take the hammer aloft or better yet just set a pull line so someone can pull the top over.

I suppose I could think up some situations where using a pull line wouldn't be the optimal solution...

However, I'd need to do ALOT of that kinda thinking to justify that kinda $$$ for something like that.

Heck, if I had the money to blow on that I'd probably go buy a $1500 self-belay reel while I'm at it. Niffty gadgets...
