Default Vermeer Chippers and Isuzu Trucks for sale
It is time to upgrade some equipment!!!

I have a number of things for sale if anyone is interested. Not shutting down just upgrading!!!

2 may be 3 vermeer 1800xl with winches, 170hp around 2000hrs. Full service history

2 trucks -- 2001 / 2003 isuzu 550 with 15m3 bin

Couple of bobcats 226, 268 and positrac

Rayco 1631 stump grinder

Vermeer 60 tx grinder

50 -60k depending on age, condition etc. One of them actually has new engine, drum and axle.

Definitely pick of the bunch.

Careful with those new axles. We got a new axle on our 1800XL and the brake disc shattered.

Got a tripometer on mine

Done over 20k, tires still wearing evenly. Had no problems.

yeah I think vermeer change your drum as part of the service!!!

That can't be right, a new drum would cost boat loads. Local council with a Rayco 17" were hit with a $17k replacement fee for the drum on their chipper.

about 5k for a drum if you can get away with out doing the bearings

ARG, are you going with Vermeer again? We're really happy with our Bandit 1890. 18 months and 875 hrs so far, trouble free.

I am going to look around. Must admit done 1500 on one of the new ones and no dramas. Been a really good machine. They have fixed the axle problem now and I believe they have just brought out a new drum with a thicker skin.

All Rayco RC16.5 chippers have dangerous drums that Rayco USA are going to replace free of charge! Rayco here in Australia are not telling anyone until they have new drum to replace, Just Ask Active Tree Service in Mt Kuring gai they have had a few fail and even had a a worker injured when the drum failed. Steer clear as these machines are not made that well and when they go bang you don't want to be around.
