Default Vermeer BC2000 stress control

My first post on Tree World,
I want to set my BC2000 so the engine only drops a few hundred rpm before the stress control kicks in, the feed rollers currently stop at 2400 rpm and the engine runs at 2850rpm, does anyone know the setting of toggle switches in the stress box to allow the rpm to only drop 150rpm, or anyone know a man who does!

cheers,

Dave

Morning Dave,

Couldn't anyone at Vermeer UK help you? Do you want me to ask some of their previous staff?

Cheers

thanks Pete that would be great, no one currently working at Vermeer seems to know anything but factory settings, there maybe someone who does but I am yet to find them,

Maybe if you can find a way to access the settings on the engine's ECU you'll be able to adjust the droop settings.

Hey Dave,

A mate who used to work for Vermeer UK tells me that it could well be a download available from Vermeer US through a bus link! (Whatever that is, I thought a bus link was the coach into town). He tells me that you ought to ring Wellingborough and ask for Kevin Moore or try 07879 600047 (could be the right number).

Cheers.
