Default Source for parts, belts - any ideas?

Hello - I am a new forum member from New York.

I have an Asplundh JEY-612 chipper 12 inch. It is an older model that I am refurbishing.

I need to replace the 4 belts and the total price of $417 I was quoted isn't in my budget. The part from Altec is #34-804-0011-00; Asplundh part #804-0005-00. Has anyone found a reasonably priced source for belts, preferably online in the USA...... any guidance would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!
Bill

If you take the belts to your local autozone, they"ll match them up and sell you the same size belts for like 10-15 bucks apiece.Hope that helps.

The recommendation for Autozone is a great idea.... will have to see if they can match a belt up to 124 inches.....they are really big belts........ I will also try PepBoys. Will keep you posted.....

Thanks!

MSC industrial supply co. 800-645-7270 , mscdirect.com ,there is a support no. 800-753-7970 measuring the total outside distance of the belt as well as the width at the top of the pulley as well as inside bottom width may help when talking to the support people. good luck!

Try a Farm Equipment Dealer. They carry big, and long belts that are on something like Combines. I got one for my combine a few years back, and that sucker was over 10' in length. Give that a try. Bruce.
