For such a big industry there are only limited number of cut-proof pants that I have been able to locate locally, what are the brands, places and people that deal with such?

Draggin' Jeans motorcycle wear. Kevlar in the Bum and knees. I wonder if it could be shifted around for chainsaw work.

Yes i am also looking for some different brands of chainsaw pants. as far as i can tell in australia there are only a couple of basic pairs available the sthil husky abd clogger (not sure about in the US) and only a small range of them. It seems there are a range of pants in europe, mainly the UK such as SIP and Stretch Air. expensive though. If you hear of any supplyers in australia i would like to hear about it. Also i am interested in the husky, sthil or clogger climbing pants. Has any one tried any of them Which are best?

I wear the Sthils also. Very comfortable, but the do burn pretty easy, especially when starting your chainsaw and the exhaust touches them. There water proof too, and breathable. |

Old TrevMc rev has the new Husky slacks, very impressive to look at and seem very comfy. Apparently they heat up a little quicker than the standard sthill slack and come at a much heavier price tag.

Bought 3 pairs of stihl 2 years ago. Ready to buy another 3 pairs cos the wife washed the old ones in hot water and the waistline shrank....... Because I couldn't possibly be getting fatter..... Photo attached is why I wear them. |
