Man, I don't know what it's like over there, but around my way any truck looking like that and a few other work horses I've seen on here would be hounded and constantly pinged by the RTA (Roads and Traffic Authority) Compliance Officers...

Pfft thats nothing. We had an afternoon of heavy rain and we had to work on an empty muddy block. Reversing the chipper up about 30 metres was lotsa fun in the mud, truck going sideways, chipper going where it wants. Getting out was 3rd gear wheel spin, had to stop myself from going back in again :P.

Are you talking about Buck's truck or mine John? If Buck's I do not think he has that one on the road but is restoring that in the future. If mine I am at a loss?

Like I said, we are just starting mud season. right now I have a 14 ton truck crane and a F700 Dump both loaded with logs in a spot I coulda got out on Thur. but heavy rain has them unable to be moved up a mud hill. Maybe tomorrow....

I think John Dee is talking about my old '65 Merc. The last time the ole Merc was on the road was about 10 yrs ago. She will need some major cash input to get her road worthy that is for sure and I don't look forward to using her armstrong manual steering again either LOL.
Most of her work was done right in the bush when I was into firewood years ago. I put chains on the rear tires and could push small trees over making my own trails, fell a clump of birch ,block it up through it on and pile it ,deliver it straight to the customer.

My bad, I meant your truck and not Buckstree.

Senior moment.

Had one in Taco Bell the other day and ordered too many burritos, but that was a senor moment
