Hi guy's can anyone please tell me what snorkel cherry pickers are like for tree work. Just a little tow behind one.

There handy but not alot of side reach,snorkel as a brand are ok. Dont pay much if its out of cert as theres alot around like that to choose from.

Thanks mate, do you think it would get me buy as all I do is climb. 20mtr job 6years still in test, how much would you pay, 96 modle?

i have a clinton lumberjack chain saw i would lick to sell. it runs good all decals are ther.the # plates are also on the saw. dont know what it is worth

20 metre snorkel? That would be scary. Haven't seen too many prices on snorkels lately but something thats still in test, I would say at least $20k for 20m. Quote:

The only problem I have found with the snorkels over other machines is that some of them use electric over hydraulic and as a result can be a little jerky up in the bucket. Id look for a fully hydraulic system they are a lot smoother. A little more expensive of course but in my book its a worthwhile expense. Im going to say the same thing as the other guys make sure its a certified rig from what I have heard they can be a bit of a hassle to re certify. Cant give you any prices on a second hand machine but the new ones are starting at $120,000.00 for a 12-15m boom. Good luck with your search. |
