Wow,thats is bad, espically for a backleaner,i've seen people with tractors use the bucket to push on the tree while its being cut too,its better than that amchine imo as most buckets reach 15-25',but still both are very dangerous.

I sure wouldn't want to use Something Like That Weapon. Using a Tractor and a Loader is also Dangerous. What happens if the Bottom of the Tree should Kick, while Cutting the Tree Down. Better off using a Cable, or enough Chains, to be able to hook the Tree just a little Past the Half Way Point of the Tree, and Hook it to the Tractor, that is used as an Anchor, that is Parked a safe Distance Away from the Tree, and with someone on the Tractor, to help pull the Tree over, in the Direction you want the Tree to Fall. Bruce.

Yea,I think as soon as a few of these thing get out in the hands of the general
pop. I think we'll start seeing some stories about the end results. Hell just look
on you tube at what they can do with a chain saw.

How Many trees, has anyone here have Miss Judged, Plan it to fall one way, and fell where you Didn't Plan it to go?
I have had a few, and I've got almost 30 Years cutting Fire Wood, and Felling Trees, for my Family to heat our House with, and other Farmers that I have Custom Cut Fire Wood for.
I sure as Heck would not be the Operator of the Tractor, with a Miss judged Tree, and the Tree coming over the Top of Tractor . Bruce.

Now that would be something to see. Probably has been done, and to embarrassed to let anyone know about it. Bruce.

That's not a huge ram on that tipping arm either and you can get a fair bit of weight in a 20" hardwood tree.

I just don't think you'd quite have the control you do with a mechanical harvester.........
