I got the new 520 tx Dingo (55 hours)which is just the kubota diesel on the 420. I got the Dingo grapple (horizontal). Also have the tree ball squeezer attachment that is great if you plant trees. Also lucked into a 2003 Bobcat mt50 and put the bmg grapple on it but we haven't used it much yet except in the yard. The Dingo has 4 pumps and seems superior which sales rep agrees and they sell both.

Heard (don't know how reliable) they are going to stop making the Vermeer.

Love that stumper. BMG has one and it is also 14K. Big chunk, I am still thinking about it. I demoed the Dingo hyd grinder and it is a POS.

We're using the Toyota SDK 4, with grapple, and the larger SDK 8, with 4 in 1 bucket.
Great machines!

We have put in a few days with the Bobcat MT 50 now and it is just plain silly how much better a machine the Dingo is. Dingo is just a highly refined piece of equipment.

Smile Re: Which Mini Skid? or articulated mini loader!

Hi Guys,

Its a pity this thread is so old, its just up my alley.
We are finding a lot of arborists going from skid steers over to articulated loaders as they don't dig up the ground with their tyres and compared to a stand-on have great lift height and fast travel speed, a minimum of 12 km/hr.
The Schaffer range coming out of Germany truly has an industrial build.

I thought everyone might like to have a look at this showing the smallest mini loader moving logs.
