Default I've got a question

Hi, we are new at this tree business, has been just mowing until recently. We are wondering what you all think is a standard price for using all the various tree equipment. I dont want to under/over charge. Would it vary on my location? Also, what is the average wage I would be looking at if I were to employ trained tree cutters, etc. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You have to work out how much it costs to run your equipment, insure it, repairs, wages for staff, etc. Then you can work off that figure for making quotes. As for wages for experienced staff, $19ph+ on casual/full time, qualified Arborists are going to be a lot more.

Insurance costs are huge in the US and it can be hard to find a good mechanic at a fair price. Wear and tear on equipment can get costly.

You need to list the make, model and size of your gear.

A 9" chipper is less per hour than an 18" chipper, but what the 18" does in 1 hour will take less time and perhaps the 9" cant even process the log.

Location, type of job, access etc all influence price.
