Thats what happens when you live in whoop whoop. There was a Morbark in Airport West but he was the forestry one but he does know his stuff about the chippers.

I could swear I saw the trailer combo on chipper/bin in a brochure for Morbark, was I dreaming or not?

Guys,
can't really give prices out online but we have sold a big 20" brush chipper with infeed bed into Victoria and a couple of 12"s. We are bringing a couple in as stock and they actually arrived this week.

We've been dealing in the bigger stuff upto now so we are dipping our fingers to see what demand/road registration/product quality is like. We deal in alot more than Morbark although that is my primary focus. As soon as I get a 12" registered I'll be hitting the road - I'm not sure what can tow a 20" (not my ute anyway) as its 325HP Cat weighs it down somewhat.

Honestly, its going to be a steep learning curve, we are a very large company with alot of support but I'm resisting the urge to order a heap of machines to stock and then putting machines out there that we dont have any experience with. We've become the #1 Morbark dealer for all the horizontal grinders and the big chippers in Australia because we work hard to make sure the machines are right for the job - this is no different.

Would you be willing to come and see a few different sizes operating at a demo day (nothing organised - just putting it out there!).

Who would like to see what size of machine? We do a 6, 8, (3) 12s, 14, 15, 18 & (3) 20" chippers as well as the larger 22, 23 & 30" disk chippers. More info found on Morbarks Website

Also there are 2600, 3800 & 4600XL horizontal grinders plus 950 & 1100 tubs operating in Melbourne if anyone is particularly keen to view them operating PM me...

Thanks

Joe

Wouldnt mind seeing the M12/14/15R in action, they look like pretty decent drum chippers. If you are organising a demo day make sure to post it up.

Also are there any Morbark stumpers in Aus? I dont think ive ever seen any around.

Possibly in Brisbane or in the West - we do do them but we'd rather get the chippers right before we start bringing in stump grinders. If someone ordered one we'd bring it in but at this stage we dont want to bite off more than we can chew!

Just off the boat - and sold! Infeed bed version of the M20R - the infeed has a conveyor on it so you can place trees or limbs on it and go get the next one - use with excavator or bobcat...

I'll post up a video in the next few weeks...

Yeah - you wouldnt be able to utilise both - I'll check though but I'd imagine the hydraulics would need reworked and it would be excessively heavy....
