Chipper for sale 9 ' Rivett - Low hours

Upgrading my chipper to a bigger Bandit.
Asking $15k plus gst. Only done 970 hours.
Hatz air cooled diesel. Well maintained and not worked very hard. Some mods made to make it easier if you get it blocked - See photos of Jack to lift feed roller. Also Spare tire added underneath. 50mm ball coupling.
Bandit Anvil setup
Some spares - filters, knives, bolts, etc
Any questions, please PM me. Machine is located in melbourne, inspection welcome. Great machine for someone starting out, as it has plenty of life left in it

Hi mate
what weight is the chipper?
what is the actual size of wood it will take i.e. 9"x 10"?
have you had the bearings checked lately what make are they?

Will need to check on the make of bearings, still original. Every now and then we pump a lot of grease through them to purge the old. Haven't done a formal check on them though. I have a fitter and turner who does maintenance on it, so will ask him to check it out tomorrow.

Will stick on the weighbridge as well to get the current weight. - However I easily tow it with a 4wd Hilux or Navara when we need to get it where a truck cant go). Has electric brakes so you need a controller in the vehicle obviously.

I see the red jack mod but there's also a black piston there (to the right), does it have lift and crush?

Also how many HP is it?

Sorry, not doing a good job of being a salesman here. will find out about the HP tomorrow . It us a 3 cylinder Hatz quiet pack, although when you are feeding it it is plenty loud enough, like any chipper
It dies indeed have lift and crush, with a single feed roller. Lift and crush makes single roller quite efficient.

Ahh memory's spent about 4 years behind one of these.

They be Ok if you can fix the few things that fail or fall off, nuthin that all other chippers wont do. 15K 970hrs a good price if she been well treated.

Pros good price chews all its fed well cheap to run easy service points and knife flip
Cons that friggen electric start motor gets dust fouled & fails. Check your suspension leaf fasteners.

Motor is 34 KW, which is about 45 HP
Total weight about 2000 kg

Does it have brakes at all???

Electric brakes, so you need a controller in ute or truck. Also has parking brake for when disconnected from vehicle
