I had a load of information, options and research, right up until you said "Not too expensive if possible, though."

LOL,

On my latest video at the end I just put a note ... peanuts aren't legal tender unless you are a monkey.

You pay for what you get.

Buy quality.

Default 2-way com

Price aside, there's quite a number of 2-way communication headsets to choose from. A-O Safety / Peltor has been a world leader in this arena for a long time. A-O was bought out by 3-M in 2008 and currently, their website is a wreck. Here's the 3M page on communication headsets. Good luck.

2 way communication falls into a few categories, primarily; aviation, military and 'the rest of us'. They can all be headband or helmet mounted.

Default communication headsets

Here's a link, though, on their latest. It's a news release, so the info is surface, and not much more.

The PowerCom family is the general core of the consumer/safety line of communication headsets from Peltor.

I love Peltor products. Under A-O safety the company partnership became very strong. I just hope the 3M aquisition doesn't hurt them.

Take a look at what Motorola offer, theres a good reason why everyone uses them everywhere, they are truely the best quality radio + bits you can get.
