Check Sherrill's too, they have a banner up top. Seems the prices here in Oz are like the same rip off as chainsaws!

what about Australian made knives, how do they compare on quality and price.

Sherrill's seem to have the best for Bandit knives. I have check a couple of places for knives on ebay (u.s.) but sherrill's is better again. Probably better with postage as well.

Check Zenith Cutter. They have cheap (made in Vietnam) knives, we use them, and throw them out, they're cheaper than sharpening

Oz made are close enough to same price as genuine for my vermeer around $300 set of 4, so i use genuine. Single edge blade, $26.00 to sharpen for 4.

We are getting the Zenith Cutter knives for $20 each, and sharpening is the same per knife. That's why we just throw them out and don't bother sharpening. New knives from Bandit are $60 or more each. The cheap ones don't hold an edge as long, but for a third of the price it's cheaper to use them.

What is wesspur?

Bailey's has BB knives. They have them for all the Bandit models. For the BB 90/95 they are $85. My Bandit 95 came with a second set of new knives. I sharpen them myself with a large grinder that my brother has in his shop.

Do you reckon he wants to do a few more sets?

Haha, like the craigslist pruning thread, he can do them and keep the grindings for scrap metal value
