Default ART and the 'DOUBLE SNAPPER"

I was thinking about getting one of these ART devices, as getting older and still on the cancer sticks, am finding it hard going getting up there.
Now, looking at Ekka's viddy, ART Rope Guide, got me interested. Having looked at it, started me on a mission to find one. I came across this added extra,http://www.climb-art.com/download/do...r_sequence.pdf 'The Double snapper'

Has anyone bought and used one of these trendy add-ons? and how do they work?
I can't figure it out at all...

That's so you can retrieve the rope guide with a throwline so the rope guide doesn't come crashing onto the ground/concrete/rocks etc.

Good idea, and if you do pruning where you want to get to the ground and pull ya rope guide out of the high point get one ...

Me, 90%+ TD's ... why bother, I stay in the tree whilst I send the high point to the ground.

Hmm can you see how it goes in the video?, link? Its hard to explain how it works but those pictures dont show you what you have to put where and when.

Do you even want to know how it works?

It works good.
