aluminium radiators on chippers

I was talking to a business owner last night who bought a new chipper three weeks ago, the chipper has an aluminium radiator as many others do.
so in the middle of the day a small leak appeared in the radiator that got gradually worse stopping the job. they are now useing an old replacement chipper while the company that sold them it searches for a replacement as there aren't any in australia.
now apparently if your chipper has a 0.25 volt short then electrolosis can develop due to the aluminium and break it down causing a hole.
has anyone else had this problem and if so did the company replace it with a metal or ally radiator?

aluminum rads would be no worse than brass, except that the brass will tolerate stray voltage for a lot longer period of time without damage. need to find that voltage leak!! could be a bad alt--bad grounds, yes, bad ground. the rad is acting as a ground.

I just replaced the readiator in my 12 year old Landcruiser.
Original was ally, which lasted 12 yrs. Replacement is brass. We couldn't get copper or ally replacement.
