dont use aramid fiber ropes like split tails. no beeline, hrc, ocean poly, ice, or anything with those fibers for that matter. i use a 24 strand velocity cool on my cougar saddle. 16 strands are nice but not as flexible. i find that 24 strand double braids are smoother and tend to work better with a micro pully on the bridge. just make sure you remember NO aramid fiber ropes. they are self abraiding and can fail. |

Instead, What style of rope bridge are you trying to build? Ie playground equipment style or rope bridge for your climbing harness? |

Thanks for the responses. I am building a tree house and have no formal experience. I'll start a thread with pics to show what I have so far. I'm in North Georgia United States. |
