Hello

We do alot of specialised pruning for the sunny coast council and some high profile clients. We always have a zubat when going up the trees as the do allow you to get a really nice cut on some awkward angled limbs. They are razor sharp and quite expensive but the boss doesnt want us without them. The boys will also pull them out for delicate private jobs as well. Sometimes they might not even use the chainsaw for the entire job!

cheers

But he says there are getting to be fewer of these tradesmens around because of the cheaper disposable Silkys that can be bought in the box stores.

Willard,
What sikly saw would you say is the best for thinning? I have tried out the zubat and the sugio so far..

The more important question is how could I get my hands and a handmade saw from Japan? You know they know how to work steel (samurai)

Thanks!
Brian
