First, order new rubbers from Sherril or other source.

Then, carefully cut off the old. don't nick the frame.

Use some soap, and just work the tubing on. Make sure the length is identical on each side, and that there's no twisting....

Go back to work!

My Bigshot was in my truck and the outside temperature was -7C that AM. With the cold frame I used a pair of scissors and carefully cut the rubber tubes off. Now with the room temperature rubber sling I spit some saliva on the frame ends and a little inside each tube ,then proceeded to slide each on evenly as far as you go.[ The old style bigshot you don't slide the tubing as far as possible on the frame.]
Then you have to "set " the tubing, by standing on the frame and pulling the pouch until the rubber slips near the frame ends about an inch and then stops. Let the bigshot dry for about 8 hrs before use for best performance.
I find the cold steel and a little saliva works better then messy soaped water.Don't spit any tobacco in there though.
Keep the frame in your fridge[not in the freezer] over night to cool it off if your in a warm climate
Willard.
