This one won't be out until late 2011, but looks like it will be worth the wait.




Excuse the german audio for now...I'll try to get an english version done.

Looks like a good competitor for the Kask helmet. Need some english voice overs on that vid. Whats the initial price tag for that helmet?

I think it will be a league above the Kask in quality, early days but it may be similar to a complete Kask setup with muffs & visor.

Working on getting some english audio

The muff system looks real good! Nothing worse than getting sticks stuck in there while your muffs are up on the helmet. Dont know about the colour combo, looks a bit spacey...

Just got off the phone with Pfanner & they confirmed they will be doing them in other colors too

Red/HiViz Yellow is regulation for forestry work over there i'm told, and also Red/Yellow is their corporate branding so they generally use that combo for promotions.

We will have them on display at the ITCC in Sydney this year

The release was meant to be Nov 11 but i think it has been pushed back further.

I tried on a prototype at Pfanner in Austria last month and can report that they are even better than i expected.

In the meantime the Kask or the new Petzl Alveo will have to do.
