Default new rigging plate

I have made a new rigging plate and just picked it up from the metal shop. It can be placed onto a 2 5/16 inch ball. The locking plate is held on by two stainless steel screws with two more as spares on the plate (just in case).

Plate is also able to be used in a normal rigging plate fashion. With the added two rear flanking connection hole plate is able to be used as a trolly connection point for zip-lines/ highlines.

Thats really nice.

The only thing you would want to make sure is only ever load this system in a horizontal direction, never vertically or directly from the top of the tree.

Im sure you realise this, i just wanted to say it was a good idea really

Could not agree with you more. There are deffinitly rules to be followed with this on a hitch. Besides with direction of load, the other big one is weight being loaded and how. Knowing how much all elements in the system can handle is a number one in all equipment use. Also this is not made t make an easy way for someone to attach to a truck and pull with a truck. Loading any line is highly incruaged to be done by man power not power equipment.

Plate was made for light to medium rigging. Having the ability to anchor to a hitch is nice in areas where there might not be anything around to rig to or on properties that the owner would prefer you not anchoring to surrounding objects. At the same time the plate can be used in the traditional ways as well.
