cant be ..tachyon is really light this is wel not heavy but has som weight why is it no matter what rope i use a 3/1 4.2 5,2-3 ,the rope runs ,io do it right but it tends to l=slide slides slowly foy like a foot what the deal the 6/3 blakes holds fine though, just measured it its 9/16 not 7/16 |

You're climbing on 9/16" rope that is lighter than tachyon??? Wow. Tachyon is pretty light. |

I believe he was saying that this rope can't be tachyon because tachyon is light and the rope he is climbing on is... not so light. I am not familiar with any 9/16" climbing lines.

soryy guys i didnt even look at what i was typing and didnt see the mistakes ![]() need to get a pic of it,how long has tachyon been out cause i have had this rope for good 5 years and also like i said ,and i am tie'n these right ,but 4/2 5/2-3 blakes hitchs ends up sliding on me ,somtimes i have to tie a 6/3 blakes i have been toying around with what i call a "over under" blakes 3-4 wraps up 1 under then up through the original with the 3up 1under the rope gos through only the backside where the brigdge connect 4up everything is same except for the wrap under, does anybody see any issues that might arisewith this, and does the blakes ever slide a bit with you guys? i get the most slipping with the classic 4/2 |
