Yep, a big tree over a house makes a stressful removal. Especcially when you are the boss

I meant salix sp, I know them, see them around but never real big here. Toowoomba has a few around their parks.

I am familiar with Schinus molle

To bad you couldnt have driven a crane right up to it, i did a semi large 24" dbh quercus kelloggii removal in this nice old couples back yard recently, it had a nice almost 45 degree lean to it which made it tricky, aswell as it grew right out over this shed building up and lodged (to my knowlege) into a doug fir 85' up, and to spice it up its main section of canopy was right over the high tension lines, no margin for error on this, all ropes, spurs, and with the acception of some rigging gear all old fashoned style, lol and to top it off it was uprooting after a windstorm and was in a park like setting, after i took the last section of canopy making contact with the fir it lifted itself off of what was holding it, when we got done everything came out looking better than it was supposed to and i got it done in 1/2 the time of what we had on it.
When the custy came out after we finished up, they where very happy and impressed with how large of a tree came down and fit in that small of a space, it took three of us 4 hours with a full clean up

I try to stay away from cranes as much as possible just for the simple reason that it is cheaper for the client.sounds like u did a great job dont u love it when all go's well, and nothing adds more excitement than the huming of power lines in your ear

The guy watching and instructing has a hard hat and the guy with the saw doesn't plus has a smoke hanging out of his gob.

Trees in post 10 not the same location as trees in post 14

Good try on conning us, also the person in post 14 is likely undergoing training or something

no harm done, move on.

well then you need to structure your posts better and comprehend what others are writing and referring to.

I was asking to see pics of "the tree" as I wrote, "waiting to see the pics". As far as assuming there's either no pics here or I don't know what they look like I wrote, "I know them, see them around but never real big here. Toowoomba has a few around their parks."

and as you can see I was not the only one, also not counted is the silent 3rd party that alerted me.

Schinus molle' is the Californian Pepper or Mastic Tree. It has nothing to do with Willow's which are Salix spp.
