Default Klemhiest?

I learned to climb on the Prusack in 2000 and had believed it to be the best until around 2 years ago when i tried the 'Klemhiest'!!! Im not a fan of the 'Blakes' because of it's size and tail... the 'klemhiest' is made with a prusack loop and has the same grab and release but is way more secure and compact!!!! I know many who now climb on the 'Valvatane' (excuse the spelling) and even though this is a fantastic knot, it still has many ups and downs (excuse the pun). I may appear old fasioned in my choice of accent... Please enlighten me??

Klemheist rules, I use it all the time for secured footlock.

Easy to work, fast to tie/untie.

The Klemheist

How's the Valvatane go?

I changed to a klem about three months ago for use with my yale 13mm and absolutely love it i still use the blakes on my marlow but i find it works better on it than other knots. i tried the VT but couldnt get it to hold its shape in the tree found i had to constantly redress it; but hey horses for courses,

You must have had something askew with the VT there Galbee, never had setting problems and have climbed on it for over 10 years.

But if you're happy with what your using now then coolio!
