i just switched over to the hitch climber system using 7/16 double braid Rocket line and freakin love it! i always used to say the hitch climber is not any better then my old system but i was really mistaken. the slack tending of the hitch climber is amazingly smooth and simple. i used to use a standard split tail system with 2 caribiners on the center D ring. it is soo nice to have one carabiner on the D ring. seems more stream lined and less clutter with only one. any of you who have not switched over yet, give the hitch climber a try. you might like it so much that youl never go back.

I float one on the bridge of my Glide Light and use one for slack tending. I love those things, easily the best piece of kit I have. I used to float a mickey mouse pulley from CMI on my bridge, but didn't find the sharp edges to be kosher, in my mind, in those situations I was twisting in odd positions.
