Default Hitch climber

Hi aii,
Does anybody use the hitch climber set up and if so how good is it compared to other more conventional set ups

Im using the hitchclimber and im finding it a hell of a better than having just a micropulley. My line is straighter, doesnt move around as much and isnt all bunched up on a single carabiner.

The hitch climber is great for attaching your biner to rope bridge on your saddle as well. I find that twisting is much easier and the rope bridge last much longer.

I've been using a hitchclimber for about 8 months and love it. Actually have two that I use for rec climbing with double crotches. Makes for a simple compact setup which only requires one carabiner on the bridge. The extra hole makes an excellent attachment point for the second hitchclimber. Here's the setup:

You need a splice on the end of your rope, or your termination knot will get in the way of the friction hitch.
