BE AWARE OF eye to eye tails made of HRC

I dont know if this has been covered but be extremely careful with eye to eye tails made out of the HRC material! I had purchased these tails and had a problem with the core material hemorraging through the outer sheath, so I contacted Sherrill tree and they informed me they were aware of the problem and it sounds like it might be a wide spread problem. BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL!!!

Those pics are after using the eye to eye a couple of times. Short climbs.

Thanks for the heads up, they should be withdrawn from sale. What's Sherill's plans?

I dont know what Sherrill plans to do about it. They are going to replace mine right away with another eye to eye made of another material, but that doesnt handle the very real threat these things pose.
